Naidu obstructs YSRC MLA’s address

January 03, 2017 01:21 am | Updated 01:21 am IST - KURNOOL:

YSR Congress MLA of Nandikotkur S. Aisaiah’s address in a public meeting in Muchumarri in Kurnool district was disrupted by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday.

When Mr. Aisaiah volunteered to speak, Mr. Naidu remarked that there was no contribution of the local MLA for Muchumarri scheme. Stating that YSR Congress opposed Pattiseema lift irrigation scheme, Mr. Naidu told him to merely laud his efforts.

When Mr. Aisaiah said former Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy had laid foundation stone for Muchumarri scheme, the Chief Minister retorted saying many had laid foundation stones for projects, but completing them was important. As the Chief Miniser turned impatient, officials cut the MLA’s mike making his address inaudible. Mr. Naidu said NTR laid stones for several projects and he was completing them.
