The shooting of Mayasabha , a new Telugu film starring comedian ‘Chitram’ Srinu in the lead role, began here on Thursday.
The film is being directed by Abilash of Bhadrachalam. ‘Chitram’ Srinu, who hails from Khammam, had debuted as hero in a Telugu movie directed by Abilash which is ready for release soon, sources said. The puja ceremony for the new movie was held at the famous Stambhadri Lakshminarasimha Swamy temple here on Thursday morning. Zilla Parishad Chairperson G. Kavitha clapped for the first shot of the movie. Sources said the new film will have all the ingredients of a commercial entertainer. A major portion of the film will be shot in Palvancha, Kothagudem and Bhadrachalam divisions known for their scenic beauty.
