KURNOOL: YSR Congress president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy will launch a week-long ‘rythu bharosa yatra’ at Srisailam in Kurnool district on January 5.

Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy will be undertaking the ‘yatra’ in Srisailam and Nandyal constituencies from Thursday to January 11, according to YSRC programme coordinator Talasila Raghuram. The ‘yatra’ is aimed at instilling confidence in the kin of the farmers who committed suicide due to debt burden or denial of loan waiver.

The Opposition leader reaches Lingalagattu from Hyderabad and inspects Srisailam dam. Later, he will be staging a roadshow at Sunnipenta and making a night halt at Srisailam.
