Discuss administrative tribunal division, AP, TS told

A Division Bench of the Hyderabad High Court comprising Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan and Justice A.Shankara Narayana on Friday directed Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to discuss and take a decision on the division of AP Administrative Tribunal, its employees assets and the like, in two weeks.

The Bench was dealing with a writ filed by an advocate Srinivas complaining that salaries were not being paid, and the institution is likely to come to halt.

It directed the Andhra Pradesh government to foot the entire bill for this month. It was told that though Telangana government withdrew the funds from the Tribunal and this was notified by the Union of India, the division as per the Reorganisation Act was not done.

The Bench said that by December 7, Chief Secretaries of the two States shall meet and finalise the issue, duly reporting the same to the court.
