Chidambaram offers pre-dawn prayers

The Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram participated in the pre-dawn rituals - Suprabhatam and Thomala of Lord Venkateswara conducted inside the hill temple in the small hours of Thursday.

Chidambaram, who reached the hill temple on Wednesday night after participating in various developmental programmes in the district spent his night atop the temple town.

Assembly speaker N. Kirankumar Reddy accompanied him.

Earlier, on his arrival at the main temple complex he was warmly received by the TTD and other district officials.
