The problem has been solved to a large extent, says N. Chandrababu Naidu.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu called upon Telugu-speaking people in the US and European countries to explore the investment opportunities in Andhra Pradesh, and promised to extend full cooperation to them in foraying into the Sunrise State.

Addressing a meeting organised by the AP Non-Resident Telugu Society (APNRTS) at Zurich before winding up his five-day tour of Switzerland, Mr. Naidu said that Telugu people living abroad could do wonders for the growth of AP and India, and hoped that they would help him in realising the dream of developing AP into a progressive State, by all means.

He stressed the need for all Telugu associations to come under a single umbrella for the stated purpose.

Mr. Naidu pointed out that Canada had three Ministers who had their origins in India and several hailing from India and AP made their mark in diverse fields.

He exhorted the Telugu diaspora to play an active role in local politics for better representation of the community.

Later, Mr. Naidu met the APNRTS coordinators based in Europe and discussed the efforts made by them for the welfare, growth and empowerment of Non-Resident Telugu community.
