Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy today instructed the district collectors and planning department officials to streamline and process all ’Rachabanda’ applications for their proper redressal.
‘Rachabanda’ (a mass contact programme) was launched by the state government on January 24 in Rajam—Dolpet Nagara Panchayat of Srikakulam district.
It had come to the notice of the Chief Minister that many people, especially those belonging to poor sections were representing to redress other problems also apart from the seven prioritised issues of the ‘Rachabanda’ programme, a release from the CMO office said.
In this backdrop, Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy instructed the district collectors and the planning department to receive each and every application during the Rachabanda programme without fail.
“People during the course of Rachabanda programme may represent any new issues/problems other than the seven prioritised issues, all those applications should also be received and processed for redressal,” Mr. Reddy said.
Mr. Reddy had already instructed the administration to streamline and process the applications received during the Rachabanda programmes on the seven prioritized issues like distribution of Ration Cards/ Coupons, Y S R Abhaya Hastham, Pensions, Rajiv Arogya Sri, Mahatma Gandhi NREGS, Pavala Vaddi and Indiramma Housing, the release added.
