300 priests to perform Yagams at Proddatur

As many as 300 priests from Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Delhi and Haryana will perform Sri Krishna Kalachakra Atirudra, Chaturveda Sahasra Chandi Yagams in Proddatur from January 30 to February 15 for global peace, Peethadhipathi of Sri Krishna Peethaam Sri Krishna Jyothi Swaroopananda Swamy told newsmen at Proddatur.The yagams would usher in good rainfall and crop yield and lead to physical and mental harmony, he said. The programme would commence with a ‘Sobha Yatra’ and ‘ankurarpana’ at 3 p.m. on January 30 and end with ‘Radha Krishna Santi Kalyanam’ at 5 p.m. on February 15. ‘Gurupooja’, ‘Maha-poornahuti’ and ‘avabadra snanam’ would be performed on February 15.
