27 new COVID-19 cases in Andhra Pradesh

Six districts report zero infections

The State reported 27 fresh COVID-19 cases in the 24 hours ending Sunday morning taking the cumulative tally to 23,19,475 while the death toll remains at 14,730. Six districts reported no fresh infection. Over 8,900 samples were tested in the past day.

The number of active cases came down to 367 as 55 patients have recovered in the past day. The total number of recoveries and recovery rate increased to 23,04,378 and 99.3%.

Anantapur reported 11 fresh cases. It was followed by West Godavari (7), Krishna (3), Chittoor (2), Visakhapatnam (2), East Godavari (1) and Prakasam (1). Guntur, Kadapa, Kurnool, Nellore, Srikakulam and Vizianagaram reported no case in the past day.
