Tirumala: Ending speculation over the release of his movie, ‘Om Namo Venkatesaya,’ in which he played the lead role of ‘sadhu Hathiram Baba,’ actor Akkineni Nagarjuna on Saturday announced that the film, in all probability, would hit the screen on February 10.

The film is yet to clear the censor formalities.

Speaking to the media, Nagarjuna said that he, along with members of the film unit, had come to seek the blessings of the presiding deity, Lord Venkateswara.

“A biopic on the life of Hathiram Baba, the film reflects the immense abilities of director Raghavendra Rao in choreographing the devotional film. Keeravani, on his part, has lent spectacular musical compositions, which are on a par with those in Annamayya,” he said.

Mr. Raghavendra Rao said that by the grace of Lord Venkateswara, the entire shooting of the film had been completed without even a minor hitch.

“Saurabh Raj Jain, a new face, aptly fit into the role of Lord Venkateswara,” he added.

Producer Mahesh Reddy sounded optimistic that the film, which is rich in story, came out well.

“For the fans of Nagarjuna, watching the film will definitely be a moment to cherish,” he said.
