Information and Broadcasting Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu has taken note of the concerns expressed by the newspaper industry, which have been reported in the media.
“The Minister has asked the I&B Secretary to look into the issues in the wake of the implementation of the latest wage board recommendations and the proposed GST regime,” a statement said. If required, consultations with the stakeholder Ministries would be initiated to address the issues.
