Three more eclipses this year

Besides the solar eclipse on Friday, there will be three more eclipses during the year, B G Siddharth, Director, Birla Science Centre here said.

Speaking to PTI, he said there would be a partial eclipse of the moon on June 26 and a total solar eclipse on July 11, 2010 which, however, will not be visible from India. The last eclipse during the year will be on December 21, a total lunar eclipse, which will be visible from India. In any given year there are a minimum of two eclipses.
