R.K. Laxman's condition stable

Renowned cartoonist R.K. Laxman, 86, who is undergoing treatment at the Breach Candy Hospital here, is in a stable condition, the hospital said on Tuesday. “The medical team has said he is stable and steady. His vital signs are ok,” Geeta Koppikar, Medical Director, told The Hindu. Mr. Laxman is under observation at the medical intensive care unit. “His condition is much better. He is responding to treatment well,” Usha Srinivas, Mr. Laxman's daughter-in-law, said.
