4 CRPF men among 6 injured in Pulwama grenade attack

Pulwama is going to the polls on December 9 in the third phase of assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir.

Five security force personnel were among six people injured in a grenade attack by militants in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday.

Militants hurled a grenade at a party of security force personnel at around 5.30 p.m. in Pohu area wounding six, police said.

The injured included four CPRF personnel, a policeman and a civilian, they said.

The militants escaped from the secene taking advantage of the panic caused by the blast.

No militant outfit has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.

Pulwama is going to the polls in the third phase of voting on December 9.
