Maoist ‘commander’ arrested at Ranchi hospital

A Maoist leader, undergoing treatment in a hospital under a fake name, was arrested here on Wednesday, police said.

Bhaiaram Oraon, the self-styled commander of People’s Liberation Front of India (PLFI) was held from Gurunanak Hospital here.

“Bhaiaram Oran was getting treatment in name of Budhua Oraon. According to doctors, he is suffering from malaria. He was admitted on Tuesday. His associates managed to escape,” a police official told IANS .
