Let Speaker decide: Sushma

April 06, 2011 12:28 am | Updated September 26, 2016 10:24 pm IST - Kozhikode:

Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj on Tuesday said it was up to Speaker Meira Kumar to take a decision on the “clash” between the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) and the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) over the probe into the 2G spectrum allocation scam.

At a meet-the-press organised by the Calicut Press Club, Ms. Swaraj said: “The matter is with the Lok Sabha Speaker. Let us wait and watch till she takes a decision.” JPC Chairman P.C. Chacko had sought Ms. Kumar's intervention on a complaint that the PAC could encroach into its turf.
