Is this not policy paralysis, Congress asks after Deepak Parekh remarks

The Congress on Thursday latched on to industry leader >Deepak Parekh’s remarks lamenting no change on ground on ease of doing business to ask the Prime Minister whether it is not policy paralysis, returning the barb directed at the previous UPA government.

“Despite best decadal growth as legacy in nine months Corporate Cheerleaders of govt are venting & blowing Is this not Policy Paralysis Mr PM?” party leader Manish Tewari tweeted.

The BJP had consistently >attacked the previous UPA government over alleged >“policy paralysis” .

Congress spokesman Sanjay Jha tweeted :“Well known business leader Deepak Parekh laments the underperforming Modi Sarkar at ground level. I hope that is not anti-national.”

The remarks followed an interview of the HDFC chairman in which had pitched for relaxing “administrative controls” to improve ease of doing business.

He had said that impatience has begun creeping in among businessmen as nothing has changed on ground in first nine months of the Narendra Modi government.
