IED recovered from village in Dantewada

Security forces on Saturday recovered a 10-kg improvised explosive device (IED) planted along a roadside in Chhattisgarh's Dantewada district.

A team of the CRPF and the State police recovered the IED from Bangalipara village during a road opening exercise in the area, a CRPF officer said. The IED has been defused. About 360 kg of IED has been recovered by security forces from various Naxal-hit States since May 31.
