I won't quit: Kalmadi

August 06, 2010 03:39 pm | Updated November 28, 2021 09:32 pm IST - New Delhi

Chairman of the Commonwealth Games Organising Committee (OC) Suresh Kalmadi made it clear on Friday that he was not quitting in the wake of the corruption charges against some OC officials.

He would not own up moral responsibility for the alleged financial irregularities committed by the suspended officials, T.S. Darbari and Sanjay Mahindroo.

Mr. Kalmadi said he would resign if there was a major inquiry. “But there is no such thing and everything is going fine.”
