The Congress on Sunday alleged that the BJP was indulging in “gimmicks” to defame Robert Vadra and dared the ruling party to act against the son-in-law of party president Sonia Gandhi if he had flouted any law.

“If Robert Vadra has violated any laws, why does not the BJP take action against him? [They are trying to] Just indulge in gimmicks [hawabazi] to defame him. It is the intention of the BJP to defame the family of Sonia Gandhi and Indira Gandhi,” senior Congress leader and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijaya Singh said.
