CBI searches Customs officials' premises in Mumbai, Pune

At 38 places including their residences and offices

The Mumbai Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Tuesday conducted searches at 38 places, including the residences and offices of 14 customs officials, in Mumbai and Pune on the basis of reports that the officials were taking bribes from a Customs House Agent.

Even the residence and office premises of the CHA were raided. “The raids are still going on,” Pravin Salunkhe, Deputy Inspector-General, Mumbai ACB, CBI, told The Hindu .
