BSF warns Pakistan Rangers of ‘counter-action’

Taking a tough stand on the continuous ceasefire violation and infiltration attempts from across the border, the Border Security Force on Wednesday warned Pakistan Rangers of “counter-action.”

At a commandant-level meeting held at the Ramgarh forward border outpost, the BSF registered a strong protest over the fifth incident of firing and infiltration attempt in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir. “A flag meeting was held with Pakistan Rangers in the Ramgarh forward belt today [Wednesday] in connection with Tuesday’s cross-border firing and infiltration bid. We registered a strong protest,” G.S. Sagwan, Deputy Inspector-General, BSF Frontier Jammu.
