Assam Chief Minister admitted to hospital in Delhi

Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi was today admitted to a private hospital in New Delhi after he complained of high blood pressure, official sources said here.

Mr. Gogoi (76), who had gone to New Delhi to attend the National Development Council meeting, fell ill this morning after which he was admitted to the hospital for constant monitoring and thorough check up, they said.

Doctors attending on Mr. Gogoi said his condition was now stable and was likely to be discharged tomorrow, they said.
