BJP president Amit Shah on Saturday met the family of Gajendra Singh, the farmer who allegedly committed suicide at an Aam Aadmi Party rally in Delhi, at Nangal Jhamarwada village of Dausa district.

The BJP leader consoled the grieving family members of Singh, who killed himself on Wednesday.

After addressing a party workers meeting in the state capital, Shah went to Dausa, 57 kms from here, amid tight security arrangements.

The party president was accompanied by Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, state health minister Rajendra Rathore and others.
