Five top executives of companies facing prosecution in the 2G spectrum allocation scam will remain in jail for at least another three days as the Delhi High Court on Tuesday adjourned the hearing on their bail applications to Friday.
Justice Ajit Bharihoke asked their counsel to file written arguments in reply to the submission by the Central Bureau of Investigation opposing their bail applications.

Unitech Managing Director Sanjay Chandra, DB Realty Managing Director Vinod Goenka and Reliance ADA Group top officials Gautam Doshi, Surendra Pipara and Hari Nair last week urged the court to take up their bail applications for hearing on an urgent basis forwarding the argument that the business of their companies would suffer if they were not granted bail.
They had moved their bail applications in the High Court immediately after the dismissal of the same by Special Judge O.P. Saini.
However, the court took up their applications for hearing in a routine manner, ignoring their plea for urgency.
Before the adjournment of the hearing, Supreme-Court appointed Special Public Prosecutor, U. R. Lalit, opposed their bail applications, submitting that though the investigating agency had preferred not to arrest them during the probe after making a proper assessment, it did not entitle them to bail because of that as there was a very high probability of the witnesses of the case being won over or coerced by the accused if they were granted bail.
