November 03, 2013 02:17 am | Updated 02:17 am IST - Paris

Two French journalists from broadcaster Radio France Internationale (RFI) have been reported kidnapped in Mali, according to the radio station on Saturday.

The two reporters, a man and a woman, were taken into an all-terrain vehicle by four armed men in the northern Malian city of Kidal, reported RFI. The French government has not made a statement.

The incident comes four days after four French hostages were freed after three years of being held prisoner in Niger by the terrorist organization al-Qaeda in the Maghreb.
