A day before Constituent Assembly (CA), Prime Minister Sushil Koirala (in a file photo from Reuters) met with leaders of political parties, including UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

The two leaders held talks the PM’s official resident at Baluwatar. However, they could not reach a decision on how to move ahead.

The CA meeting, however, would be adjourned even before it enters business. The meeting would pass a resolution mourning the death of ex-CA and Politburo member of the CPN (Unified Marxist-Leninist), Ram Nath Dhakal who died in Kathmandu on Sunday. He had been suffering from swine flu, and, according to the Grande Hospital where he had been admitted, also for TB.
