Van slips off mountain road in Nepal, 8 dead

A passenger van slipped off a mountain road in eastern Nepal, killing eight people and injuring 13.

Police said the van slipped off a narrow gravel road on Sunday and rolled 200 660 feet near Sidhicharan town, about 400 kilometres east of Kathmandu.

The 13 injured are being treated at a hospital.
