Musharraf’s party wins seat in NA

May 13, 2013 03:51 am | Updated December 04, 2021 11:18 pm IST - Islamabad:

Pervez Musharraf’s All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) managed to win one seat each in the National Assembly and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial Assembly. The party’s candidates from Chitral had decided to stay in the fray despite its boycott of the election over a lifetime ban on the ex-President and the rejection of his nomination papers.

Shehzada Iftikhar-ud-Din won the NA-32 Chitral seat by around 20,000 votes, Dawn News reported. Ghulam Mohammad won the PK-90 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly seat. —
