Qatar urges de-escalation of India-Pakistan tensions

Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa al Thani, the ruler of Qatar, on March 3 urged de-escalation of tensions between India and Pakistan.

A statement from the government said the Emir called Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss the regional situation. The PM expressed India’s security concerns regarding Pakistan. The Emir also called Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan.
