February 14, 2012 01:19 am | Updated February 15, 2012 11:53 am IST - LONDON:

The three Indian nationals charged with attempted murder of Praveen Reddy, a 26-year-old university student from Hyderabad, were on Monday produced at a magistrates' court here and remanded in further police custody.

Mareshwar Arava (25), Sai Kishore Balguri (25) and Nishanth Puttapaka (23) were arrested from the same East London address where Praveen lived and was reportedly stabbed on Friday last.

Praveen's condition remained “critical,” the police said as the investigations continued.

The three are among the 11 people arrested. Seven were later released on bail, and one without any condition.

An MBA student at a business school in London, Praveen was found stabbed outside the apartment, which he reportedly shared with a group of other fellow Indians in Plaistow, a suburb in the East London borough of Newham.

Police launched an investigation after they were called to Newham General Hospital on Friday morning, where Praveen was admitted with stab wounds.
