Modi inaugurates Afghan parliament building

Prime Minister Narendra on Friday inaugurated the parliament building in Kabul, which was built by India.

The parliament building, that was started in 2009 has missed its completion deadlines at least 3 times since 2011, and >has gone over-budget by double the original costing of $45 million.

11: 35 am: Mr. Modi to address the Parliament shortly.

11: 20 am: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurates the "Atal Block" in the new Parliament building of Afghanistan.

11: 15 am: PM Modi arrives at the new Parliament building in Afghanistan.
