Gursewak Dhillon did not apply for bail on a charge of manslaughter by criminal negligence, according to media reports.

Dhillon sat quietly in the prisoners dock during the appearance at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court.

He nodded when asked by Magistrate Jelena Popovic if he understood the case was being adjourned and that he could apply for bail at any time, the report said adding the hearing lasted less than a minute and was adjourned until June 29 with the prosecution asking extra time to prepare the brief of evidence against Dhillon.
