Landslide kills five in Nepal

Five persons have died in a landslide in a northern Nepalese district, police said on Tuesday.

Two persons are also missing in the landslide triggered by continuous rain in Dhading district, they said. Besides, the landslide swept away two houses at Gumdi village of the district, 50 km west of Kathmandu.

Meanwhile, the police have rescued two seriously injured people from the site. They were airlifted to Kathmandu for medical treatment.
