India, Pakistan Foreign Secretaries meet

Indian Foreign Secretary Ranjan Mathai met his Pakistani counterpart Salman Bashir, on the sidelines of a meeting of the SAARC foreign secretaries here.

While both were tight-lipped about the meeting, and left the convention centre without comment, one official source here said that the meeting sought to prepare the ground for the meeting between Prime Ministers of the two countries.
