A US drone today fired missile at a militant hideout in Pakistan’s restive North Waziristan, killing at least five Taliban fighters.
The unmanned spy plane fired one missile hitting a militant compound at Inzar Kalay, 30 km east of Miranshah, the main town in North Waziristan Agency, security sources said.
An initial report said five Taliban fighters were killed in the attack though the sources said the death toll might rise as more people were feared to be buried under the rubble of the house which collapsed.
