Twelve people died and dozens were missing on Tuesday when their boat capsized on a river in north-eastern Bangladesh, police said.
The accident occurred in Sunamgonj district, some 296 km from Dhaka. The bodies have been retrieved, Xinhua reported.
An official said the boat was carrying 60-70 passengers. The cause of the accident was not immediately known.
