A man who left his $100,000 (about Rs. 63.8 lakh) diamond-encrusted watch at Newark Liberty International Airport, United States, at its security checkpoint is getting it back via special delivery.

The Transportation Security Administration says the Cartier watch was picked up by a colleague of the Japanese real estate entrepreneur who left it behind. The friend planned to fly to Japan to deliver it by hand.

Guards at the airport found the watch on Tuesday. The owner had already boarded a flight to Japan. The owner contacted officials, who used security images that showed him wearing the watch to verify the claim.
