VCK leader seeks security cover

His name was on the hitlist of the suspects in the Gauri Lankesh murder case

With Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) general secretary D. Ravikumar's name featuring in the diary seized from the suspects in the Gauri Lankesh murder case, the party is hopeful of a quick decision by the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister to provide him security. The Karnataka Special Investigation Team confirmed the presence of his name among a list of 24 targets.

Speaking to The Hindu , Mr. Ravikumar said they had given a request to Mr. Edappadi K. Palaniswami, when he and party chief Thol. Thirumavalavan met the Chief Minister on Monday.
