The silver jubilee of the International Yoga Festival concluded on Monday with a spellbinding display of various asanas.

The festival, organised under the auspices of the Department of Tourism, had commenced at the Gandhi Thidal on Friday and featured yoga practitioners from across the region.

Chief Minister V. Narayanasamy distributed prizes among student participants at the valedictory session.

Parliamentary Secretary to Chief Minister K. Lakshminarayanan participated.

The event was attended by a host of dignitaries over the four days and was a major tourism draw.
