“Visual Impacts”, a painting exhibition by Auroville-based artist A. Sathya, gets under way at the Pitanga Cultural Centre, Auroville, on November 16.

The artist’s love for and fascination with nature pervades his works. “I can only begin painting when the landscape affects me deeply,” the artist says. Sathya believes that participation in several group shows, solo events and art residencies has helped enrich his art and expand the depth of his painterly perspective. The show is on till November 30.
