Training for women police officers

A training programme on laws dealing with crimes against women, for women police officers in the rank of Special Sub-Inspectors and Sub-Inspectors was held at the Police Training School here on Tuesday.

K. Latchoumy, Director of Puducherry Women’s Commission, imparted lessons on investigating complaints under Section 498 A of the IPC and the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Konda Venkateshwara Rao, principal, Police Training School, participated.
