Traders stage protest after portion of market collapses

Nellithope traders on Monday staged a road roko demanding better facilities in the market.

The traders resorted to the protest after a part of the market collapsed.

The protesters dispersed following an assurance from Chief Minister V. Narayanasamy, who represents the constituency.

He assured the traders that work on repairing the market building would commenceme soon.
