Interactive workshop sessions to be continue today.

Pablo Picasso once said, “Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.”

The Tasmai Art Gallery in Puducherry held a workshop with the intention of helping people explore the artist within.

The workshop had a special guest Tiroumale, a professional artist.

His art usually portrays horses and he sketched live for the audience completing a work in 10 minutes.

He is so much connected to art that he gave up on a 14-year job as a graphic designer to freelance as an artist.

Kirti, the owner of Tasmai is an artist herself, who firmly believes that ‘anybody can draw’. “It is scientifically proven that all those who possess the basic ability to write, can also draw, all they need is a pen and a paper,” she says.

The workshop had an interactive creative installation — a round canvas on which every visitor was supposed to draw something, the purpose being to let go of inhibitions and just draw whatever comes to one’s mind along with being able to interact with the rest of the crowd.

This interactive session is on till Saturday along with other workshop sessions.
