Sub Inspector found dead in police quarters in Puducherry

Police said the 36-year-old had been on night duty on Wednesday

A Sub Inspector of Police, Vibal Kumar (36) attached to the Nettapakkam Police Station was found dead in his quarters on Thursday. He was a resident of Thondamanatham near Villianur here and had been serving in Mahe for a long time and was transferred to Puducherry six months ago.

Senior Superintendent of Police, Law and Order, Rahul Alwal said Mr. Kumar had been on night duty on Wednesday. Further inquiries are on.
