Shah’s visit to U.T. will be productive, says Home Minister

The visit by Union Home Minister Amit Shah to Puducherry on April 24 will be “very productive” in terms of development of the Union Territory, Home Minister A. Namassivayam said on Tuesday.  Interacting with reporters after chairing a high-level meeting at the Police Headquarters to review preparations for the visit, Mr. Namassivayam said Mr. Shah would be attending several functions during his one-day visit. He reviewed the security arrangements for the Home Minister’s visit with senior police officers. Additional Director General of Police Anand Mohan, Inspector General of Police V J Chandran, Senior Superintendent of Police Deepika attended the meeting.
