Science exhibition for school students

It will focus on sustainable development

The Directorate of School Education, Puducherry, is organising a zonal and state level science exhibition at Navalar Nedunchezhian Government Higher Secondary School from October 28 to November 6.

Titled ‘New Discoveries for Sustainable Development’, the event will have scientific exhibits of students from primary level to higher secondary classes of both private and government schools.

A press release from the Joint Director of Higher Secondary Wing, Directorate of School Education, stated that models related to health and well-being, resource management and food security, waste management and water resources protection, transport and communication, electronic and industrial protection will also be kept on display during the exhibition.

First three days will have a zonal level exhibition and the next three days will be state level. The Directorate of School Education has published the school visit schedule for all the six days. Public will be allowed to view the exhibits every evening from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
