The Orleanpet police on Saturday handed over a 12-year-old boy from Bengaluru to his parents after he was found loitering in the New Bus Stand.

Commuters informed the police about the movement of the child who was alone inside the bus stand on Friday night. The boy told the police that he had left his home after parents scolded him for obtaining poor marks.

The boy’s parents arrived here on Saturday and took the child back to Bengaluru, the police added.
