Rangasamy distributes free mixies, grinders

Chief Minister N. Rangasamy on Thursday distributed free mixies and grinders to 13,535 cardholders at a function in Kalapet near here. The beneficiaries were from Kalapet and Pillaichavadi areas in Kalapet constituency.

The free mixie and grinder scheme, a poll promise of the ruling AINRC is being implemented at a cost of Rs.120 crore.

Phased manner

The mixers and grinders are being distributed in a phased manner in all constituencies to cover 3.37 lakh families across the Union Territory.

Ministers N.G. Pannirselvam, T. Thiagarajan and MLA P.M.L. Kalyanasundaram were present.
