The draft provisional allotment list for the lateral entry admissions to diploma courses in polytechnic colleges was published on Thursday in the website – www.centacpuducherry.in . The candidates can submit objections, if any, to the draft allotment list till 6 p.m. on June 29, 2018 by email to centacpolyfeedback @pec.edu .
The details are as below; number of seats for lateral entry in polytechnic: 268; number of applications received: 554; number of applications in the merit list: 534 and the number of seats allotted: 214.
Selection under 12th (academic stream) or 12th (technical or vocational stream) and 10 plus 2 years ITI was based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination as per the eligibility conditions specified in the information bulletin 2018-19 Volume – V vide page no. 32 to 36.
The draft allotment list has been prepared based on merit, course preferences and reservation criteria. Some seats remain vacant as candidates had not given their preferences for these courses.
